Riksarkivet har lanserat en utökad version av söktjänsten Nationell Arkivdatabas (NAD).  I söktjänsten kan  du i en enda sökning få träffar i flera olika typer av material. Du kan söka information om arkiv i hela Sverige tillsammans med Riksarkivet SVARs stora utbud av skannat arkivmaterial och digitala sökregister. Sökning sker även i  Svenskt Diplomatariums huvudkartotek över medeltidsbreven, SDHK, och Svenskt biografiskt lexikon, SBL.
